Bio
I build the invisible architecture that makes AI systems actually useful. My work sits at the intersection of context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI memory design — shaping how language models receive, retain, and reason over information. Former psychologist turned cloud data engineer, I bring an unusual lens to how humans and machines exchange knowledge.
My focus areas: designing RAG pipelines for food & nutrition intelligence, engineering context windows that reduce hallucination and improve retrieval precision, and architecting multi-layer memory systems (episodic, semantic, procedural) for AI agents. I care deeply about the unglamorous but critical work of making LLMs genuinely grounded — not just impressive in demos.
Stuff I've done
2025
Specializing in context engineering: chunk strategies, retrieval precision, and LLM grounding.Building RAG and memory frameworks for food, data, and enterprise AI applications.Participating in AI, data, and food tech events across different countries.
2024
Architected multi-layer AI memory systems combining episodic, semantic, and procedural memory.Built production RAG pipelines with hybrid retrieval, reranking, and context optimization.Designed food intelligence systems: recipe knowledge graphs, ingredient data pipelines, and nutritional RAG.Returned to Brazil to reconnect with roots and the local food & tech scene.
2023
Started deep-diving into LLM systems: prompt design, context windows, and embedding models.Explored early RAG patterns and vector search for food & nutrition data use cases.Participated in innovation conferences & future of work events.
2022
Participated in climate forums and advanced Climate Tech initiatives.Transitioned to web3 development with a remote team.Contributed to tech and blockchain events & won a hackathon.
2021
Visited the Amazon Rainforest for the 1st time.Delved into rabbit holes of blockchain & web3.
2019
Corporate experience within a modern data stack.Moved to the Netherlands for new opportunities.Became a cloud data engineer.
2018
Developed proficiency in Python, AWS, Docker, and Terraform.
2017
Initiated my tech journey in web development.
2012
Started coding spreadsheets, JS and automation tools for a hobby.Graduated in Clinical Psychology, working for ~5 years in the field.
